Liberty Sidemount configuration is unique in its independence. It is the only Sidemount rebreather with everything onboard. It makes it a completely standalone unit. You can just take it and go diving without the need for any offboard additions. And when needed it possible to use it as a secondary or bailout rebreather.
Sidemount configuration was originally developed for very tight environments such as caves or wrecks. But the lightness, freedom of movement and its neutral buoyancy is also great for any non-overhead diver.
